    RPI watch

Non-con opponent Evansville plays at #9 Indiana State this weekend. If they could get a win, it could give us a boost. It should help us either way.

If we don't win 4 more it doesn't matter. 4 more sec games is a must and that's still no guarantee. 3 more and it's a given we travel.

More likely to win 2 than 4

Knowing that Lemonis has no clue how to beat Arkansas, the fact that we lack focus against opponents like North Alabama and Lemonis struggles against Mizzou- there is a very real chance we screw this up. Especially this team which shoots themselves in the foot repeatedly.

Given our history with Mizzou late in the season, it wouldn't surprise me if the Tigers took 2 of 3 from us or even sweep. They did just that several years ago and we were lucky they didn't sweep us then. Mizzou for some reason is a mental matchup problem for us.

Yep. I have a pretty high level of confidence that we do in fact screw this up. RPI has already taken a 4 spot hit this week so far.

we just gotta let Lemo do Lemo things. I'm not sure he's 100% out of the woods yet as far as next year is concerned. go belly up the rest of this arky series and underperform vs Mizzou and plenty folks will want his head. I hope this isn't the case but...........

We have beaten teams with losing records in SEC play. The only team we have won a series against with a winning record is GA. We cannot close the deal against the winning teams and continue to choke and blow late inning leads against them. Lemonis is now similar to Dan in many years. We aren't 13th or 14th anymore, but beat the teams were are supposed to beat but, can't beat the big boys in that particular season.

RPI is now up to 15. KPI is at 10.

Huge game tomorrow but still playing with house money.

I'm even more confident that 17 gets us a hosting bid so still some work to do.

I, too, can't imagine 17 wouldn't do the trick. 18 would be a lock. But whatever the number is that gives the best SR matchup is what I really want.

It's hard to quantify that because you never know what the committee will do. A win tomorrow plus a sweep of Mizzou would give us 19 and that might put us in a good position to sneak in and get a National Seed. The other thing is if we do well enough to get a first round bye in the SEC Tournament that would also be huge.

Our biggest competition right now IMO is South Carolina and Alabama. South Carolina just got swept at home and they play Tennessee on the road next. We're also ahead of them in wins and now we just jumped ahead of them in RPI. Alabama we beat head to head 2/3 and they have 15 losses so the best they could do is tie us. But they do have a higher RPI at the moment and they have one more against LSU and then finish up at Auburn. I just can't see the committee giving Alabama a host bid despite their RPI.
